The 95th Annual Meeting of the Society of Rheology  will be held in Austin during the week of October 13-17, 2024. 

The abstract submission page is now open for oral, poster and Gallery of Rheology submissions.

The Gallery of Rheology abstracts: Sep 20, 2024 and the poster pdf must be submitted by September 30.
 

The meeting will feature four plenary lectures, two short courses, 12 technical sessions, a poster session, the gallery of rheology, the rheology research symposium (for students) and a robust vendor show.  And as always, excellent receptions.

Plenary lectures will be given by Karen Daniels/Douglas Jerolmack and Matteo Pasquali, as well as the 2024 Bingham Medalist and Metzner awardee.

Short Courses -  October 12th and 13th.

1: LAOS Rheology - a start-to-finish guide" (Instructor: Simon Rogers)

2: Automated Rheology and Application to Multi-methods Measurements (Instructors: Jeff Richards, Thibaut Divoux)

Rheology Research Symposium (RRS)

October 12th and 13th.  The RRS is held the Saturday and Sunday before the meeting and is designed to provide mentoring, networking opportunities, career discussions and foster diversity.  It is geared towards individuals at the Graduate Student level. Students will be able to apply for travel grants to attend.  Further information will be made available at a later date. Contact Katie Weigandt for more information.
